Christmas Lunch & Cruise

Having received notification from only a hand full of interested members and
with the need to firm up our provisional booking for 30 places at the Falmouth
Beach Hotel for lunch we had to make a decision re the event and unfortunately
it was thought cancellation was the only option.

Possibly the reason for the lack of support is the cost at this expensive time of
the year in difficult financial times with Xmas around the corner and childrens presents
to think about the luxury of a Falmouth Beach Hotel lunch may just have had to take
a back seat.

Of course for those of you who have booked your place via Jenny we have the Christmas
dinner/Disco at the Bedruthan Steps so that is something to look forward to.

It is a good job we did cancel the Eden visit though as the skating rink there was destroyed
in the flood and may not be replaced this year. If it is we may advise that the visit is on in
January as the locals for a £5er continues until then we understand..

Anyway, compliments of the season to everyone and let's hope 2011 is a happier year for us all,
